What's happened to Vet-Medic?
Vet-Medic has been acquired by another group called VetUK. VetUK and Vet-Medic are very similar small independent companies who both strive to provide excellent levels of customer service and high quality low priced medicines for your much-loved pets.
All members of the team at Vet-Medic have been found employment on other projects within the wider group. Vet-Medic is part of the Manor Drug Company who operate community pharmacies around the UK and have taken the decision to focus on other parts of the business.
How do I contact VetUK?
What has happened to my prescription that Vet-Medic held on file?
Your prescription will be transferred to VetUK in a timely fashion around 4th January 2020, You will then be able to order your items online with VetUK. VetUK is a registered vet practice and adheres to the same strict standards that Vet-Medic held itself to, so you know you can trust the quality and integrity of the service.
Where does VetUK get its medicines from?
VetUK, by coincidence, uses exactly the same supplier for their medicines as Vet-Medic so you should see no change to products you normally use.
How do I order my prescription with VetUK?
Ordering your prescription online at VetUK is very similar to ordering from Vet-Medic!
Simply find your prescription item on the website and when checking out you will be prompted to upload a prescription, or state that VetUK already has one.
If you have an ongoing prescription at Vet-Medic and you are confident that there is still some medicine remaining on it, please click the appropriate box stating that VetUK already holds a prescription for this medicine.
Will I have to create a new account with VetUK?
Yes, you will. VetUK and Vet-Medic are separate businesses and so you will need to register with VetUK, the process is very easy and new accounts can be created just by following this link.
